Magrib: Zainab

Two nights ago, I accepted a challenge. A challenge to write a poem. People said I couldn’t pull it off. Said I didn’t have an emotional side and crap like that. Well, I can be deep too. Here’s a lil poem I composed last night called “Magrib” about the first girl I ever fell in love with. My first girlfriend, Zainab, who broke up with me during of the religious crisis back in J-Town. 😦 Enjoy and please, note that it’s my 1st poem so it might not be great. Thank you

*************************************

I saw you. You were there/
    The next moment u were gone… @iTSFPRYME’s Hair/
I inquired across J-Town about you. You go fear/
You were my ‘star’,the thoughts of losing you, I couldn’t bear(beer)

>>

I saw you a week later, your beauty sent my heart-beat to its max./
But you were ‘Dark and Lovely’ and that made me ‘relax’/
We flirted a little. I even showed you my 4 packs./
You responded instantly. You showed me your butt crack.

>>

We vowed to remain together till death./
We sealed our vow with a kiss. A great feeling when our lips met./
    We dated for 3months. 3months I’ll never forget./
Like a female Michael Phelps,I always got you wet.

>>

The J-Town crisis resurfaced. Our relationship was in Jeopardy./
You were really hurt when you lost your very close padi./
He died in the horrible riot in Barkin-Ladi./
Your family decided to flee. You held my balls for the last time…Tiger Wood’s ex-caddie.

>>

    Now you’re gone and I’m all alone./
I spend my nights going through your pictures on my phone./
I wish I could spend one more day with you Zainab./
Last night I tried to jerk off and even got nabbed.

I MISS YOU!!!
